Human-in-the-Loop
Definition
Human-in-the-loop means deliberately keeping people involved in selected AI decisions or actions.
Why it matters
Not every task should be fully automated. Human review is especially useful when a decision has higher risk, requires judgment, involves sensitive information or affects a customer significantly.
Example
AI may prepare a response to an unusual customer complaint, but a team member approves it before anything is sent.
